Kaustav has over 20 years experience in Financial Markets & Transaction Banking across Foreign Exchange, Interest Rates, Commodities, Credit, Cash Management & Trade Finance. He has worked extensively with Local Corporates & MNCs providing hedging and risk management solutions across flow and episodic situations like domestic and Cross Border M&A, Leveraged Financing, Green Financing, etc.

Before Polestar, Kaustav was Executive Director at Standard Chartered Bank. He set up the Private Side Sales Desk for Corporates and Financial Sponsors after having previously worked as Head of Sales for West region and South Asia Head for Network Business.

Kaustav has also worked with Citigroup in Fixed Income Sales, Cash & Trade Sales and Commercial Banking Coverage.

Kaustav is a Chartered Accountant and an Economics Hons Graduate from St Stephens College, Delhi.
