Saif has over 25 years of experience in a Fixed Income Market ranging from Credit and Rates to FX.

Prior to Polestar, he was head of DCM for ITI Gilts where he worked on special situations, high-yield/structured trades and securitization as well as conventional debt and corporate advisory transactions.

He has served as the CEO and Head of Fixed Income at Morgan Stanley India, where he worked for 12+ years. At Morgan Stanley, Saif was responsible for the origination, syndication and secondary sell-down of bonds/loans both onshore/offshore. He worked primarily with foreign portfolio investors (FPIs), mutual funds, insurance and pension funds, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), and corporations and private clients.

Saif has also worked with Standard Chartered Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank in their fixed Income division.

Saif is an MBA in finance along with a bachelor’s degree in Science.
