Polestar advises on INR 600 Cr maiden rated, unlisted NCDs of the largest EPC player in the country
Polestar acted as an Exclusive and Sole Advisor to the largest Infrastructure EPC Company (“Company”) to raise rated, unlisted NCDs from two of the largest domestic asset managers (“Investor”) through private placement.
Few highlights:
- Situation - The Company wanted to access local capital markets by issuing maiden NCDs and thereby reduce overall cost of funds.
- We assisted the Company raise long term financing by issuing a 5 year NCD. The NCDs were kept unlisted to keep the compliance at the minimum at the same time meeting disclosure requirements.
- We were able to achieve very competitive pricing due to excess aggregated demand.
- One of the largest NCD issuance by an Infra EPC company at that time.
